The New Tomorrow Costume Designer

A prequel to the children’s cult TV series “The Tribe”, “The New Tomorrow” was set in a post-apocalyptic world with no adults.

Shot for a large part on location in Wellington New Zealand, during winter, the costumes had to practically address this whilst also reflecting a child’s approach to making what they would wear and link to the aesthetic seen in “The Tribe”. As there were three specific tribes I based each one on a historical period as a foundation for the design.
